Oh wow, what a coincidence. I just watched it this Friday.

It was fantastic. Not all that big on the art style, but the backgrounds and scenery were mind blowingly gorgeous. The characters were all great, and the story was absolutely engaging.

I liked it a lot. (Though I'm still a little upset about Kimura. Was that really necessary? I really liked that guy. > 8 T)

I refuse to watch the movie because I hate the manga so much. Soulless little kids without purpose behind their actions besides spontaneous violence does not do it for me.
