Light was a manipulative psycho who killed and betrayed as easily as most people breathe, and I was glad to watch him hurt for once. I actually felt really bad for Mikami. Poor delusional guy. Just another pawn for his "God"

Yeah Matsuda survives.
After a character dies I become less of a fangirl.
First L. Then (I think) Matt. Then Mello. And I just read the one where Near dies.
So I'm searching quizilla for fanfics of ones who haven't died( well trying to anyway.)
"Matsuda!" I yelled. As I did that, I jumped, and hit my head on the bunk bed.
Smart me.
So yeah, I pretty much only like Matsuda now.

I thought that they portrayed Light's death a lot better in the manga.

His death in the anime ticked me off because he didn't seem as pathetic in the end.

Th-they shot him mid sentence! (at least in the anime) And they shot his red car.
And he had like, 5 minutes of screen time... crying
And Mello...but at least they're both in a better place...together.

I was also sad about Mikami's death, but I guess it couldn't be helped. He was with Kira, and Kira lost....so there's no way of Mikami just walking out without anything happening.

This was just a oneshot manga.
OK, well, 3 years after Raito gets killed, Near obtains a Death Note (but yes, he did burn all of the ones from before). He starts killing old sick people.
Then at the end of the manga some shinigami whose name I forgot walks up to Ryuuk and starts talking to him. They get to talking, and the one whose name I forgot said that Near gave a squeal, then wrote his name in the Death Note.
