I do not know, and I do not understand why D.Gray Man is very popular.

Definitely not. D.Gray-man doesn't include all-you-can-feel-sorry-for tragic-asses, pseudo ninjas or samurais and such, which is in my opinion the main reason why people still watch/fanboy Naruto. And, the annoying fillers are over in the anime (at least for now).

Really, nothing about D.Gray-man is similar to Naruto if you ask me. But I was afraid for a while that the anime would be ruined like with Full Metal Alchemist. stare

I have yet to see Gaians squealing and raving over D.Gray-man in the AMC forum. We shall see once it anchors in the United States.

Personally, as of now, I think D.Gray-man is worlds better than Naruto.

That aside, I wished Kaoru Wada was a bit more creative when he scored the music for D.Gray-man. A lot of the instrumental music is noticably close to that of Inuyasha.

D.Grayman is terrible ;(
I'm one of those arseholes who comes along and bashes animes for no apparent reason, or not. Why? like I said, "no reason."

Well... I'll admit the series is very "shounen-oriented (that's why it bores me)," but I do keep up-to-date with the manga. I just can't quite enjoy a story wherein the main character overpowers his/her opponents whenever their life is at stake. Unless the script was outrageously well-written and directed (e.g., ¿Kenshin?, and tons out there which I can name right off the bat). ***D.Grayman is the next Beet The Vandel Buster.

Then again, I'll give D.Grayman props for having it's own unique counterparts. It's a 50/50--5/10 stars, I don't dislike it, and I definitely do not indulge in it. It's decent, and that is all.
