FMA, probably. I hope it doesn't become as obnoxiously popular as Naruto. It's a decent series.

I love D.gray-man, but I do not think it will become the new Naruto. Yes more like Death Note it's becomming more common since it's has came out in English.

I like Naruto....but the thought of DGM becoming the new Naruto scares me
 ....if D.Gray-Man became the new Naruto it would most likely have to get onto American TV to gain enough fans. First we would have to all pray that there's enough weird religious-like stuff and scary looking stuff so they couldn't try editing it all out for kids and leaving people with a crappy dub and DVD releases with only the crappy dub on it.(honestly...I can't picture DGM getting a good English dub)...So let's hope that it would be on Adult Swim.... Then it would air and the topics here would start. We would start seeing topics like this one....and way too many repeat threads about how much people love/hate it. D.Gray-man's one of my favorite series...and I wouldn't mind it getting pretty popular so they'd finally release some good merchandise for it...but I don't like the idea of it winding up with so many fans that it's impossible to go to a forum and not see a complaint about its popularity. Luckily, DGM doesn't seem like the type of series that would gain as many obsessed fans as Naruto...maybe more like FMA or Bleach. That way it'd be pretty popular, but not have as many complaints. Besides, DGM's story and characters are quite a bit better done than Naruto's, in my opinion... ^^;; |
