What do all these have in common? A seemingly clueless girl thing named after the only word they say. Do you think this idea is overused?

If you stop and think about it, a lot of things are overrated in anime, like:
People travelling into the past through freak dimensions.
Girls bouncing around in space.
Girls with ridiculous sized chests.
Girls who run around and are defenseless.
People who were completely normal, but for some reason or other now are Earth's only defense.

And etc...

yeah it is over used but when u think about it everything these days are..... i still have to confess chobits was rather interesting

To yaoihakkailover: You forgot the whiny annoying hormonal teenage boys who are the only hope humanity has because they seem to be the only ones competent enough to pilot the Giant Robot of Salvation, corny love stories that go wrong, and the geeky boy gets chased around by lots of girls that want to win his heart categories.

Well, it seems it went well, yes? I mean, Chobits was/is popular. ::doesn't like it though:: Elfen Lied seems to be getting there. I don't think Yumeria's popular though, but I want to see it.
