When you think of CN, you think of cartoons and anime right? For many of us, CN first gave us a taste of the world of Western and Japanese animation. A love that stays with many of us to this very day.

But recently, CN has began changing, getting rid of toonami, and getting "Hipper" more intune with the kids. With animated teen dramas like TDI and Sixteen.

That and Rap.

And to attract teens even more, CN is getting ready for "Cartoon Network real" A live action show block.

CN is moving away from animation and more towards reality tv.

But its not all bad news, Cn has just announced, Sym-bionic Titan, a giant robot show by Samurai Jack Creator Genndy Tartakovsky.

So folks, how do you feel about the changes coming to CN, like it or not, it looks like we'll be seeing less animation and anime.

I don't watch CN as much anymore.

You know, I think CN would be doing itself a tremendous favor if they brought back some of the Boomerang cartoons for a few of the timeslots. Kids these days need more Bugs Bunny.

I hardly ever watch CN anyway - I watch Adult Swim more, and even at that it's only for one or two shows.
Now all we need is to wait for the eventually name-change of the channel.

I hated it back when it aired on Nick, and I still don't like it now.
The only new CN stuff I like is Flapjack and Chowder.

You'd be surprised. Did you see the gross profit it made opening weekend? If I remember correctly it was up in the 40 millions.

I'm in college and one of my friends asked me if I wanted to see it, a lot of older teens watch it surprisingly, so yes it does have that many fans.

I think they should stop trying to catch up with Nickelodeon and Disney and just exploit the niche they've already created for themselves to it's fullest extent. You'd think the morons in charge would realize that they have virtually uncontested control over the cartoon market here in the US, and that their opportunity to be like the other two networks passed ten years ago.
Really, I'm just waiting for this to fail. CN has never been known for having any good live-action series, and I doubt these new ones will be any different unless they are willing to make some changes. *Shrug*

They are, Cn has seen the success of TDI, which is an animated reality tv show. So they've decided to take it one step further, actual reality tv shows.

One show doesn't count as exploiting their cartoon niche sadly, especially when at least 70% of all their other shows currently airing suck to high hell. They made progress with Chowder and Flapjack, but need more shows of the like.

CN hasn't been good in a long time. Once they took away Fosters I had no interest. But does anyone else see the problem with live-action cartoons? That makes no sense! It's not a CARTOON if it's LIVE-ACTION!
I think all the total drama island and 6teen crap is attempting to draw more of the teen audience. The best part of CN was how it showed the unusual stuff even though anime watchers were the only ones who watched it. That was what made it special, and now it's gone.
