redface I love fruits basket, but thats all i like. can anyone tell me any new really great mangas like fruits basket? My sister told me to read something different.But I only like love/comedy ones like furuba. 3nodding evil wahmbulance

I love Rozen Maiden, but I don't know if it's completely shojo you can see the anime in youtube, the manga it's a bit harder to get.

Edit: Don't watch it on youtube. Their quality is shitty. Just get the dvds since they're out anyway from Geneon.

Perfect Girl Evolution is a good comedy/romance.

You're my girlfriend, a shorter series but very fun and enjoyable.
Fall in love like a comic, also a cute series.

Alice 19th, Peach Girl,...maybe Fushigi Yugi... there's a lot of decent shojo out there. clamp comics are also a good place to start if you're looking for a good comedy shojo. Magic Knight Rayearth is my favorite by them.

hmm...yeah, there are some good series listed here, but I recommend instead that you buy like a magazine or a "hot manga" thing and see if any of those reads appeal to your fancy, might save you a bit of money, also you can usually find previews to a lot of manga online, you just have to look in the right places. ^.^ Good luck

Those five are all quality shojo, though the last three have some unorthodox characters who will turn off some readers. Also, anything written by Arina Tanemura is great.
