So I just wanted to know everyone's favorite anime death scene and why.

For me I would have to say my favorite was Wolfwood's death was my favorite. His character was developed so well with the few instances your allowed to glimpse his gloomy life. When he realized his err, before he died...man that was some touching stuff. It really took Trigun's story and level of seriousness up a notch.

When two people are meant to be together...

The end of Chrno Crusade. It's so sad but its really the only way the show could have been brought to a close, but the whole scene as the lifeclock winds down and Chrno is holding Rosette as she cries... *starts to cry* crying

...no time is too long, and no distance is too great to keep them apart.

I'm not sure which the best one is... but when Dark basically got sealed (in a way "died" wink in the anime, I was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

I love this one scene from Uziga Waita's short story "Cockroach", where this guy shoves all these cockroaches up a little girl's v****a, then electrocutes her making the cockroaches crawl out from everywhere. Then he finishes it off by shoving his arm up the girl's v****a and then pulling her innards inside out.

Deidara's 'Art is a Bang' was pretty cool, and 35 and Kurama from elfen lied died very nicely with the explosives

Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi. Just when we were learning so much about his past and delving so deep into his character! T-T

Kikyo's ACTUAL death in the recent manga (not in the anime) was pretty hardcore too! *sniffu*

Wolf's rain. I cried like an infant the first time I saw it.
