Any fans of NANA by Ai Yazawa?

I loved it in the beginning, my favorite parts where the band scenes though as the series moved on it became more and more dramatic which partially made me lose interest but I stuck with it until the end. Overall It's good but not quite what I was looking for in the series.

If you pay close attention, she was kind of forced into it. Takumi cornered her, and didn't let her explain what she was talking about when she tried to elave him. He really didn't give her a choice to leave him.

He eventually grew on me, though I still prefer Nobu.

Though I understand why Hachi went with Takumi and not him.
He has a much more stable lifestyle. It would be unfair to her child to choose Nobu.

I'm really hoping Yazawa comes back and finishes NANA though.
I hate being left hanging.

My favorite scene is also you-know-who's death. It was surprisingly poignant.

But... you can't force someone to marry you. I understand she felt like she had to choose financial stability for her child. But the truth is she had two valid options, because it's not good for a child to see their parents be miserable, either. Takumi is borderline abusive.

If her and Nobu had made the decision that they wanted to raise the child, that's something they had the capability of fighting for. If Takumi harassed them, that's what restraining orders are for.

But lets be honest here..It's a drama, there's not exactly to much normal thinking here lol And I feel as if she felt forced into the marriage too..And as you find out later on, she was not sure if it was Takumi's or Nobu's kid. And unfortunately, it is most likely Takumi's kid, because Nobu used protection.

I LOVE the manga and anime; I was secretly hoping for the anime to have Hachiko x Nana yuri end, but eh... Guess I can't have everything I want. : /
