My fav digimon were probably Myotismon, Agumon (Wargreymon), garurumon, veemon, guilmon, gomamon... omnimon (just bc that combination of two megas was freaking sweet and u know it) demidevimon (i like the baddies for some reason) and uh... yeah off the top of my head, those are my favs! DD/tamer wise-- I like Tai as the leader. The bro/sis thing with him and Kari was really cute though Kari got on my nerves in season 2. lol

I know what you're TRYING to say is that you dislike the dub but you can't call that a separate season since the characters, plot, and overall theme are left intact and is only edited for TV purposes.

The characters are mutated slightly, the plot is toned down and then shifted because of kids like you, and the theme hold little relevance when they trash every element like they do.

The only way it can be considered a different season is if they changed the entire plot into something else completely. In other words, an adaption.
If they had done an adaption of the series, using only footage here and there to make an original story out of it just for the dub, then you would be right and I would be wrong.
However, that is not the case. The story and characters were left intact and simply just made to appeal to a slightly younger audience than it did in Japan.

I'm fine with Citramon and you know why? Because a giant bomb walking around and blowing up things for the heck of it is way too sensitive a subject in this post 9/11 America, especially for children.
Do I 100% agree with it? No but it was still an acceptable change.

I did mean it was my favorite season, and I hated the changes they made in the dub cause I loved the original. My entire "defense" was me saying what I didn't like about what happened during the dub process. at no point did I say "Savers and Data squad are two different season."
