Whoever saying it's dying is only saying that to scare you into buying DVDs.
Ever since anime hit American shores, it's become a nationwide phenomena, especially with the kids. Those that don't know about things like torrents or sites like Crunchyroll will usually either tune in to the channel showing it or will buy the DVDs and, more commonly, the merchandise.
I'm dying. Please buy this DVD.
I really do love the dearth of excuses that pirates will tell themselves - especially anime pirates - to not feel bad about what they do.
I don't need excuses to feel bad about pirating. Honestly, I've thrown away quite a bit of that, and some dignity, in order to be able to watch animu and dodge my fear of poor dubbing and translation sacrifices in animu and mango that get licensed, respectively.
On top of that, name three things that have happened relating to the "fall" of anime that has does not include the Geneon incident. Maybe you'll convince me.
And you must have reread "it's" as "they're."
I'm an "it", FYVM. You want to make something of it?
I mean, it's not my fault you hate Japan. It really isn't. I feel bad, though. I mean, really, who
needs dignity, anyways? Stupid human emotions. They don't mean s**t if we don't get what we want.

Also, lol @ a "fear" of bad dubs. That's funny. I feel bad for you, though, what with having to worry about Al Kahn in your closet every night. I hear he eats your shoulders.
You sound pretty inconsistent. Lots of scribbles on that paper, nothing else to even double take at.
And hey, you gotta break a few eggs to make that omelet. People want more 'authentic' translations and they want them faster than at official dub speeds. Then there's the whole line of prejudice in weeabooism and Japanophilia. Personally, I watch subs only because they get to (e-)shores faster than dubs do. And it's funny to hear their voices sound like they're always overreacting.
And you're right. In these days, in the cold cold world, emotions don't really get you anywhere unless you run a charity or something sentimental. It's all about getting to your goals, and kicking the people that get in your way.
On top of that, why would I be afraid of a suburb? They're on the other side of the world, and I sleep in the living room anyways (no joke). No closets there.
Now, silliness aside, please try to be serious. I may be a pirate, yes, but that doesn't mean you have to try to bait me into flaming. It takes two to tango, you know.
