Angela? Meh, I thought she was a b***h and highly prefer Meilin, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Damn demographics. They couldn't keep it simple with "things for boys, and things for girls."
They have to make "things for manly girls, and things for girly boys."

No, no, I told you, it was made for Fujoshi.
Yes, but if it were a shonen series, why would they be interested in it?

Because it was made for them.

While he noted that Square Enix is planning a second season of the fujoshi anime Kuroshitsuji, he added that fujoshi is a difficult genre.

Don't make me repeat myself, Obo.

I suspected as much, since the mangaka is a Yaoi writer herself.
I think I also remember someone saying that the reason it was under Shounen was because Square Enix had nowhere else to put it?
Or something along those lines.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, but for some reason... it did.

I am surprised.

A similar thing happened with Tactics, so I wasn't all that surprised. The anime/manga fandom can be a confusing thing though, I do agree.
Yes, to label it shonen is a huge stretch...
And I'm not really sure why...
But I do know it's my favorite.
And I'm not really sure why that is, either... sweatdrop

And as for the Angela/Ash thing, I don't really care. I like the manga more...

Well I doubt I'll be reading the manga. I was interested enough to finish the anime, but not enough to start the manga. Even so, he's still one hell of a butler.
