Ok so just recetly watched this series and wanted some Friendly input and opinions.

So at first I didn't really care for this series. The graphics weren't amazing, it seemed a bit too fanciful, and after 2 episodes all I was seeing was snow white, red riding hood, rapunzel, and your ever faithful cat-girl. But after sitting down and watching the whole series in it's entirety, I changed my mind a bit. I find that while the graphics and the close likeness to fairy tale characters, This web show has a lot of creative elements. From the dynamics of the 4 main characters to to the secondary characters, the story telling elements (while still very fanciful to me, are a bit appealing considering the story it's telling), and the overall background you get from the characters. It reminds me of the good old RPG games, putting together your own little campaign group and making it try to work even though you know the different classes may not be too compatible. While not what anime these days compare to design wise, I think this show does actually have a good running future. Anyone wanna give their thoughts/opinions?

I didn't really care for the writing at all, but I liked the characters, and I loved the fight scenes.

fighting scenes were cool, I like the idea
of how a weapon develops and what you can do in battle.
like a pole turn into a nunchaku (it's that how you spell it) and then into guns


other than that, the story is.. not sure, I don't want to judge,
I personally only watched it because of the fighting scenes,
the characters are ... plain/bad and
it bothered me the animation plus voice acting,
especially ruby's voice oh god...
don't get me started with weiss

The guy who made it came up with the same idea I had for bullet using melee weapons.
Only his weapons have more than one form lol

Their personalities weren't how I expected it to be when I watched the videos. I like the story line though and the secondary characters are really interesting.
I like Blake(the cat girl) the most because she's the only one who matched the personality that I'd expected her to have.
I can't wait for the next videos, it's interesting enough to watch and see.

If you like subbed anime then you're gonna hate RWBY's voice acting.
I know I did at first before I started getting used to dubbed animes.

MMD art style is meh for me but to be honest I dont really see RWBY in any other kind of style.


Mo-cap animations great no real problem there other than how they glide across the floor when they "walk/run"

Just wait for volume 2 in June or july (i forgot). biggrin
