Synopsis: Phil Argus would've preferred a life without wacky shenanigans and animated slapstick. Instead, he is forced to weather the storm of a brilliant but extremely dense inventor (Joel), an obsessed fangirl (Elly) who idolizes Joel, and a robot (Rya) who hates everyone and everything (including cupcakes and Arbor Day!!). As can be expected of shows with vague descriptions, crazy science fictional happenings take place, and all types of terrifyingly lame villains challenge them, from lazy aliens to fired mailmen to angsty teenagers to the Devil himself.
Style: Limited animation with moments of exaggeration and slapstick.

Joel lives with/leeches off of Phil and is usually the cause of all of the crazy antics encircling the group. The inventions he makes usually never work, or, in the crazy case that they do work, won't help the situation at hand. Except that one time. When faced with an obstacle, Joel will try to overcome in it the most difficult way possible.

Phil is the obligatory straight man, and, aside from his superpowers and MAGICAL SPINE!, probably the most normal of the main characters. He has a thing for Elly, but she has never returned his affections. He has terrible luck with girls. Despite having more common sense than Joel, he's pretty poorly educated, which gets to be problematic sometimes.

Being the girl next door, Elly was at one point the apple of Phil's eye. She fell for Joel instead, for reasons we're all unsure of. She's changed outfits and voices but not as much as Rya did.

His intention was to create Phil's ideal woman; however, Rya wound up being a bitter, cynical a*****e who hates pretty much everyone--except Phil, who she has a pretty obvious crush on. Her biggest desire is to become a human and escape the virtual world.

Originally, she was a crazed Catholic zealot; upon her de-aging, though, she became an apathetic hippie. She later went completely insane.
