I think Toph's crush on Sokka is cute, but considering he's the only guy in her age group she's come across (besides Aang, and his glaringly obvious crush on Katara probably ruled him out, though I'm a total Taanger.) it's probably not that much of one.

I've always seen Toph and Sokka as a kind of comedy duo. If they got together their romance would get in the way of that. Plus at this point the only thing more canon than Sukka is Iroh/tea.

Age, sometimes she acts older than him and is age really a love factor.

I'm staying open-minded about ships lately. There's a difference between the ones I want to happen and the ones I know are going to happen.
Kataang: Adorable, as always. Aang's smittenness for Katara is so cute! However, Katara is just way too motherly for Aang. He can do better, like On Ji or someone!
Zutara: The one I actually want to happen. What can I say? I'm a sucker for Romeo and Juliet-like ships.
Sukka: Now that Suki's back in the game, maybe DEFINITELY will happen! A respectable ship as always, but not my fave.
Tokka: The other ship I want to happen. I mean, c'mon! Who cares if Toph's three years younger? They are so funny when put in the same room! Because of this, this little guy ( twisted ) says "DIE, SUKI, DIE!!!" I need to tell him to shut up.
Maiko: Alas, I don't have an opinion for this one. Mai is an amazing character, and so is Zuko, but two amazing characters can get a little dull BORING for the fans.

no WAY. Yue stinks! I think that she was a waste of time. I'd rather the Sukka pairing. But other then that I agree with you. I think that Kataang is adorable, but Zutara is better, and I REALLY LOVE Tokka......but honestly I don't want Sokka with anyone but me redface (YES I know he's an anime, and NOT Real) but even though I want him for myself, I'd MUCH MUCH Rather have him end up with Toph; she's just SO much cooler then Suki. >.<

Oh yeah that Serpent Pass thing. Maybe Zuko and Katara thing will work out now that there ar on eachothers sides.... but Aang will be POed.

I know! I LOVE Ty Lee! I hope she gets a good ending in the story.

....but we all know the way the show is going. In the end, it's gonna be a Sukka pairing. *gag*
