Perhaps because In some cases, they put themselves in Katara's position, and they're more attracted to Zuko than you.

Personally, I think Katara and Toph have more chemistry, but they all have a lot bigger things to worry about anyway.

Taang would be adorable, Aang would be all lovey-dovey and Toph would be like 'LOLNO'.
The only Tokka evidence is one sided, what you mentioned and when Suki saves her in The Serpant's Pass.

Kataang is er, okay for me.
I despise Maiko.

Sukka, I like because it's gets rid of Tokka (which would sorta be side ship for Kataangers).
Although I did prefer Ty Lee with Sokka and Azula with Suki (hehe).

I just think Katara and Aang aren't right for each other (many reasons). She acts not like a lover towards him, but more like a sibling or mother. Also, they don't really have much in common and if Katara ever did have feelings for Aang, she wouldn't have reacted the way she did when he kissed her (regardless of him going off to a deadly battle). We also know that she'll be backing away from a kiss soon as well, so I really don't think the feelings are mutual.
Zuko and Katara are opposites, but in terms of personality they have much in common and could do really well as a couple.

One way I see things going is somewhere down the line Zuko does screw up (most likely after taking control of the fire nation) and Katara fulfills her promise from the Western Air Temple; Either killing him, or inflicting a serious wound.

Oh yeah that Serpent Pass thing. Maybe Zuko and Katara thing will work out now that there ar on eachothers sides.... but Aang will be POed.
