Bloodbending is impossible unless the Waterbender is both very advanced in her skills, and that there is a full moon to enhance her chi.

That doesn't mean very much, though, since the moon is always full in Avatarland. xp Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen a half moon or a crescent moon or anything in that show.

It's a fictional story. Comets can be made out of whatever the creator(s) please in fiction. Same with the moon always being full. It's based off of Earth, but is not Earth. If it makes characters unbalanced, then so what? The show is still amazing.

Also, it doesn't matter if comets are made of ice. It still works: the whole point is that Sozin's comet comes so close to the planet that it drags across the atmosphere (or whatever sphere), the air itself ignites around the ice. It's the burning air that empowers the Firebenders. Theoretically, it's possible that Sozin's comet may one day burn away altogether from catching fire so many times.
