that's why toph hasn't been cast.


i agree to an extent with both sides, but more with the hate train side.

I think the hope is that they make so little on the first one that they give up the franchise, like they had to do with Golden Compass.

As of right now, I'm pissed off beyond all reason at the movie. Especially with the casting of Zuko and Zhao.

And no, it's not because I don't think Dev Patel is pretty/handsome enough. I like Dev Patel as an actor. I just think he's a terrible choice for Zuko. It strikes me on the same level as casting Keira Knightly as Toph.

...Damn, I wish I didn't have that image in my head.

I'm still going to see the movie in theaters, though. Even if it is to just b***h my way loudly through the whole thing and piss off everyone else there.

This movie is ridiculous and negative in so many ways. They should have just left a perfectly good series alone if they couldn't do it right. Just wondering what the Gaia feelings are on this.
