I personally like the Mad Hatter in both Tim Burton's and the SciFi's versions of the classic, although I think SciFi's Hatter was a calm insane while Burton's was impulsive. Both were brillant however =)

The Mad Hater 10000000 times over three reasones hes wins
A) He is completly the crazyest persone in Wonderland!
B) He can be completly unpredictable and when his mood changes as dose his outft.
C) Finaly HE FUTTERWACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i totally think mad hatter was better this time round! tha Cheshire cat didnt hav much of a role in tha new one and i didnt like that they changed his color
