The March Hare appears in the 2010 Disney film Alice in Wonderland, voiced by Paul Whitehouse. His full name here is Thackery Earwicket.

thats hot ;3
Urgh - NONE OF THEM HAVE NAMES!

Tim Burton did not create Alice in Wonderland; this is just his take on it.

Thus, the names ARE NOT canon. XP

The only ones that have a name (and are canon) are Alice, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. Everyone elses names were pulled from Burton's/Disney's rump. XP

No, the names were moronic and a poor attempt at mimicking Lewis Carol's quirky style of writing

The fact the names appeared in the movie still does not make them canon, as they were not derived from the original creator's ideals.

You could say that for alot of films based on old stories. Like The Little Mermaid for example.
Didn't hear people b**ching about that though..

Nope - they came from the sequel 'Through the Looking Glass'.

You do know there were TWO books, right?

Actually, plenty of people did b***h; but then - it's Disney, and Disney hates unhappy endings.

Quite honestly, the endings of all classic fairy tales were butchered by Disney's need to make everyone live happily ever after.

No lessons are learned, no true hardships faced - none.
