no like the people made hats and they were called hatters but the hats got poisoned with mecury so they became mad (mad as in crazy mad) and thus the mad hatters where born XD

o thats really cool now i feel like i grew brain power lol

Inr i watched the movie and my uncle told me tht and i was lik OMG why cant i meet a real mad hatter tht would EPIC XD XD

if u meet one send them my way

I will be sure to do tht and then we can all have a tea party and learn to futterwock (i think thts how tht word is spelled)

In the book (Through the Lookinglass), the Madhatter rapes Alice. Yeah...pretty sure that's not in the movie...

Obviously you have not read the book. No where in it is there any raping. In fact they "Mad Hatter" isn't even in Through the Looking-Glass. Do some research before you start proclaiming something so wildly untrue. Please do not post something so ignorant again.
