Personally I love both:
I love how the Cheshire cat can be mad and yet he can be serious at times but it's the madness that is brilliant.
The Mad Hatter is brilliant! in the Tim Burton version of the film, Johnny Depp did a perfect job capturing the Mad Hatter's madness ^_^
