It depends on what your four-year-old can handle. I saw The Hunchback of Notre Dame (which most people consider too scary for little kids) around the time when I was four-or-five years old and I absolutely adored it. Of course, I was a weird kid.

I didn't see much that would scare an oddball child, but your typical little girl might get frightened of the gore and violence.
