Cuz it's a cartoon? xD You know, like, NOTHING is weird inside cartoons? lol. I think seriously it's because she loves him though. I mean, it's usually about how he hurt her or she's mad at him, but, the fact that he can hurt her that way proves she cares for him...Or maybe I'm reading way too much into this. Dx>

You say your band sings more about life and pain as if that's different than her singing about her dad. Her dad is a part of her life that sometimes brings her emotional pain. There ya go.

its all about fries ok and like yeah she is crying but she is crying about fries and thats not deep
i liked it better when ice king sang it because he doesnt even have a father so it was mroe painful for him
