Marceline was hypnotised by the amulet Her father gave her. It changed her into one of the most Chaotic Beasts. Also, Finn and Jake didnt remember because they were knocked out. Funny part about this: Jake's holdin a banana around the whole nightosphere, when its ear wax to the demons.

Nah I don't think so, I think that is why he was so confused as to why she didn't want it, besides he is chaotic evil and Marceline isn't, he wouldn't have needed to be tricked.

I thought Ooo was supposed to be post-apocalyptic earth. Then again, we never DO see him traveling to other "continents," per se, but we DO see him travelling to other kingdoms. This could just be what they call continents after whatever mass-extinction there was that killed of almost all of the human population. After such a terrible disaster, one can only expect that those remaining would have to have lost VAST amounts of language and culture, which explains why he doesn't know very much. I can't say much about the sentient food, or the sudden docility of daemons and aliens alike, but so far into the series I can't find any logical point that trumps this hypothesis.

There are multiple continents left on Earth, only one of them is called Ooo.


I like to say that in one of those continents is a current day version of Korea where all the Rainicorns live, lol.
