Hello, Achievement Forum, and welcome to All!
. . . I am Mel.
And I've been here before. :]

This thread is intended to assist my friend, Kiro, with his dream:
To achieve Threadmaster via the votes in his hangout/club/home thread!



This is a MASSIVE quest to undertake for reasons I'll explain in another post, but
the only one that need concern you (who have chosen to help, I hope ) is that
there are not enough <3 votes yet!
So please, click the picture and share the <3~

ABOUT THE ACHIEVEMENT

"To get this achievement, a thread needs to have 100 or more votes, at least 95% of which must be <3s"
(( This info found via Gaia's 'Site Q&A' forum. ))

Visual evidence of earning this achievement is the "Popular" tag on the thread.
( What's that you say? It's not there yet!? That means we still need <3s! whee )

ABOUT THE QUEST

More Hearts !

If you want to see the math behind it all (and therefore how many <3s we still need),
here's how we figured it out:

(( I spoiler-ized the math, for those who don't like homework. xD! ))

Threadmaster = 95% (or more) in <3s...
So if we take the number of </3s in the thread (as of time of this post: 392),
And find what that is 5% of... ( 392 / .05 = 7840 )
Then subtract (392) from that total... (7840 - 392 = 7448 )
That final total would be how many <3 votes we need to have for Threadmaster!

...Phew... And here I thought I was done with math class. sweatdrop

The catch is! If another </3 is given, we have a new (and higher) total altogether. gonk
So we're not kidding when we say "every vote counts."

Please lend a hand, and a <3 vote! We can't do it without you! 3nodding

Here's a little bit of Mel observations on a Kiro:

Kiro is a nice guy who seems to have too many moments of being severely
misunderstood... and then misjudged, and then disliked by those who chose
not to get over their misunderstandings. Which is a sad thing, to me.
He gets impatient and frets over little things that mean a lot to him, as do
most people. He is friendly, fun-loving, polite (if you ignore the table manners
xD! ), shy at odd times about odd things it seems, and generally rather sweet.
Like cuddly sweet. Like... think over-large kitten, determined to flop in your lap.
English is not his first language (but he understands it pretty darn well).

On Gaia Kiro runs a sci-fi -based club called Afterlife.
He quests for impossible-seeming things like many Gaians do.
He makes friends. He practices alchemy. He collects art.
He's a snazzy dresser.
He's awesome.
He's Kiro.

ABOUT AFTERLIFE

"The Hottest Place in Space"

Don't let all the text on the club's first page intimidate you.
A lot of it is Kiro reiterating stuff just to make sure you understand what you've walked into
anyway. ;]

The club is most for those inclined toward RP, especially since it's move from the CB to
Commerce. The people are still friendly; the bouncers do their job; the dancers strut their
stuff; and Kiro is actively trying to make sure everyone feels at home in his home.
Remember not to go bringing in any real-life drama, as it is all the more a place of escapism
now that it is more fully set-up as an RP sci-fi club.
But also remember, it IS a club, which means you should have a little fun and loosen up a
bit whenever you visit! wink

Advertising is not allowed in Afterlife without the owner's (that is to say, Kiro's) permission.
Which is how any business should be run. So please do not go in there posting links (as
you will be ignored and banned from posting in said thread), and ye needn't go in to do any
bumping, either. The place is generally active enough to "bump" its self. c;

If you want to join the activities they have going on in the club (which there always seems
to be something going on, from avi contests to giveaways to fan-based RPs), just be sure
you read the rules before you post.

Be careful, though, because Mel will still continue to chat, and if the number Mel
rolls lands on a Mel-post, this freebie shot is lost to the wind~
So don't be shy, chat right back, &/or chat with each other! ;]
