I found mine took a while to come through.
I ended up changing avis before it came through so it might just be some sort of glitch?

Because i tried after it appeared on my available achievements and didnt work. But when i saw i could do it, tried, and worked well.

Try equiping the cig in your hand, you win the "gun" achievement at the same time.
