chi takes a glass of champagne from the large tables of gourmet food and sits in one of the chairs seated near the dance floor.

Erika the hostess notices it's empty.
she quickly puts on a song

[Kalaundrea]

Kalaundrea enters the establishment with a great smile under her mask. Seeing only a few people in attendance she quickly makes her way to the food tables and takes a glass of champagne. "I guess I've come early." She says to no one in particular.

"perhaps, or maybe not many people are going to show"
chi says cordially over the tip of his champagne glass.

"I love this song," He said to himself while he closed his eyes and placed a shoulder against a wall, out of everyone's way.

Kalaundrea throws a quick glance at the man who spoke to her. Raising her eyebrow she replied,
"You sound awfully pessimistic." Pausing to grin playfully Kalaundrea added, "I'm sure people will show eventually. By the by, I'm Kalaundrea."

Erika gets worried not many people will show up...
She leaves....
Erika comes back with margaritas,wine, and cider. She waits to be asked to dance......
She sits at a table drinking champagne.

chi states, sipping the champagne, gazing amongst the few guests

Dezy entered the room then looked down and sat down in an empty chair. She stared at the table then layed her head down in her arms.

Kalaundrea laughed, "unless they are trying to be fashionably late. There is, of course, such a thing you know. She takes a sip of her champagne and smiles at the newcomers. "See, more people are coming as we speak."

*Sergeant enters and looks around*

"Where's the party at??" *she hollars*

He opened his eyes and glanced to the other guests, counting in his head. If you make it, they will come. Patience is a virtue... He pushed himself away from the wall and went to where the drinks were gathered.

Erika notices the song ended...
She goes to change the song.....
She forgot what song she was going to put on...
She sits at the table again.......................................
