Imigine slipped into the room quietly and observed the other attendees. They seemed to be enjoying themselves. She slid into a chair at an empty table that had an admirable veiw of the entire room.

"Why welcome Miss." Arias approached the girl. "How do you do?"

Imigine smiled warmly at Arias. "I'm very well. Thank you for asking. May I ask after your own health?"

"I am glad." she smiled at her. "Yes you may, very well thank you. I am feeling very healthy. How about yourself?"

Imigine laughed. "Very well. This is quite some dance that you are having here." She waved a hand. "May I just say that I am delighted to be here."

She didnt want to be here in the first place.
Her dad had encouraged her to meet new people ever since she moved in with him 2 weeks ago. She had previously lived with her aunt in San Diego since her mom had passed away years ago after her parents' divorce.
She had always been more independent than all of the other girls she knew. She didnt really rely on other peoples' company. Although she did enjoy it every once and a while.

'Well, I guess I'll just stay here for a while and tell my dad I had fun for his sake.', she thought to herself.
