A lot of the tips you pick up in AT aren't very helpful anyway. I don't like some of their rules. Though I suppose I did learn a bit about dressing my avatar from AT, I hate most of their standards.

If colors don't match perfectly. It sucks.
If you have two items from the same set. It sucks.
If you have useless handhelds just for the sake of having an extra dash of that color. IT ROOOOCKS!!!!

I just like outfits where the colors are close enough that they blend, and they fit good together. Putting several hats on that layer funny just 'cause they're the right color doesn't look good.

Yeah! I know what you mean...they kept telling me to get stuff to put in my hands, like the boomboxes (which I happen to think are ugly) and the fans (which I can't afford) and all this other stuff. Gah!
And especially since so many of the colors are nearly impossible to match. x.x I only use my Elegant Veils on my mule, 'cause I can't match them to anything - but I like them a lot. =(
Anywho, I'm starving, and this thread is insane...so I'm off for now - probably be back later.
