The Artificial Room

[Kibichu]

She looked longingly for a second at the Tamagotchi, then turned back to the datapad. She pulled a silver Sharpie out of her pocket and handed it to Popcorn, saying,
"Can you label them for me? Remember to write on the casing."

With that, she started going through the pile.
"Asteroids," she said, handing the chip over,
"Meteor, 3-D Pinball (I love that game!), a... transcript of Shakespeare's Hamlet?"
She passed that one on with a confused expression.
"Maze, Pacman, and Pokemon Yellow."
She stared at the last cartridge for a while.
"Wow... keeping that one. That was my first ever video game!"

Done with the pile, she turned her attention to Apel.
"You wan'na play? I could probably dig a working Datapad out of this pile for you.. or make Popcorn share."

Apel sticks her and into her hair. "Hold on."

She rummages around a bit and pulls out her Datapad. ... 'Worn-in' is probably the best word to describe it.

"Ta-daaa," apel says. A big grin is plastered on her face.

She looks over Popcorn's shoulder. "As-ter-oiddds," she sings as she snatches away said chip.

"Hmm... Meteor, 3-D Pinball, I can't fit that one. 'Hamlet', Maze, PacMan, pkmn yllw," she wrote on the cases. "Pokemon Yellow wouldn't fit."

"Hey! I haven't labeled that one!" she told Apel, snatching it back and wrote neatly, "Asteroids."

Apel chews nervously on the handle of her club.

She smiled as the chip traded hands between the two and returned to the Tamagotchi. She pulled up a circuit board diagram on her datapad and referred to it as she worked, saying,

"Popcorn, can you just keep that window open while you play? I'll only need it for a second."

"Sure," she said, continuing Pong. "Hey, Apel. You're chewing your club. What's up?"
She looked up from the datapad, concerned.

She lifted her teeth from the club long enough to say, "Asteroids."

She returned to her chew-fest.

[Kibichu]

"What about it?" Kibichu asked, distracted by her work. The device was making tiny sparks now, fusing the broken circuits back together.

Apel glances at the pile of chips at Popcorn's feet. She steals back Asteroids and pops it into her Datapad.

She leans back and reorients herself with the wonderful world of Asteroids.

In the room, it was all stupid, but even the flower held true to it's name. Artificial.. though she could hardly beleive that it was fake, it looked so real! Frizbii saw the door knob and her eyes brightened up, A way out! she grabbed hold of it and almost yanked the door off it's hindges. Walking out into the room, it was outside? For a moment zbii was confuzed.

Near the foot of the statue stood the host of the room, standing around in the middle of nowhere and grinning like an idiot, (as per usual.) She doesn't appear to notice the newcomer at first, and is instead staring off into the distance.

Frizbii spotted the person randomly standing near the tall statue. "Ah! someone!" She walked slowly up to them. Oh! I think that looks like the ..host? "Umm... hi?"

"WAAH!? WHO ARE YOU!?" The host looks somewhat disgruntled. "It wasn't my fault! TVC15 did it! IT WAS HIS IDEA ALL ALONG..." System waves her pointy stick around for a while, before calming down enough to give the newcomer a good look.

"Oh, nevermind. Hi." o_o;

.... zbii was a little taken back. "um... Hi? ..again?" zbii was kinda confused at this strange reaction the other just had. Um.. well I guess it comes with the room? heh.. She smiled.

"Eehhh... I've decided I don't need sleep today."
