Welcome to Gaia! ::

Apel stretches her arms above her head. Immobile until now, no one had noticed her slumped over at the bar.

"Moooorrrning." Apel tries to play catch-up.

"Emmm... this is the best room. In the world." Apel blinks.

"The world."

"What's going on about a guild? Whaaa?"
Kibichu was still outside, tossing through the scrap pile.
"Ooh..." she said, pulling out what appeared to be a memory chip. Curious, she plugged it into her datapad.

"Pong!" she shouted in delight as the old-style computer game booted up. She sat down against the building wall and started jamming buttons, delight apparent on her face. She was good at Pong.
Apel slides out of her barstool, using her club as support. She makes her way to the door and pokes her head outside.

Kibi is there.

"Hey." Apel rubs the sleep out of her eyes.

"Hey, Kibi, wot's this about a guild?"
She looked up at the distraction, pressing the PAUSE button.
"Oh, well, the Ball is going to be over soon, but no one really wants to leave, so... Someone proposed that we make a guild! A few people offered to donate in order to get it set up, but System wasn't sure about whether or not she was going to make it yet." she said.
Apel grumbles and stumbles back inside. She looks around. Everyone seems occupied with any business but hers.

She sighs and makes her way back to her seat at the bar.
Kibichu blinked once. Twice.

Then, shrugging, she returned to Pong. She liked Pong.
Apel hears Kibi say something. She skips towards the entrance.

"Hm?" she says, poking her head through the door, "I'll donate."

She takes a seat at the entrance: one foot inside, one foot outside.
She paused Pong again.
"Well, like I said, System wasn't sure. I think she said that she'll PM everyone if she wasn't able to get back onto the board again, but... Seeing as the Ball hasn't, for whatever reason, ended yet, she might very well log on again before she has to." she said.
"Either way, you should probably ask System if you could help if you want to. Does this mean that you woud join the Guild if someone created one?"
"Hey, Kibichu," said a voice behind the two girls.
"Oh, Pong. My favorite!" the girl said, and added, "I like old games."
The strange girl sat cross-legged, indian-style beside Kibichu, watching the game.
"I would join," she added.
"Hey, Popcorn!" Kibichu said, recognizing the newcomer.
"Want to play?" she asked, offering up the datapad.
"I was going to keep searching the pile- it's possible that there are a few more. Maybe something like Pacman- these games usually come in groups."
She enthusiastically took the datapad and began playing, moving the bars to stop the ball. She kept one eye on the old pile, however, glancing at Kibi and going back to the game.
Apel nods her head happily, "Yeah I'd definitely join. I got cash to spare. I'll PM her straightaway."
Kibichu dove back into the pile. She found a few more chips, but it was impossible to tell what was on them until she had the datapad back. For now she just made a small pile, along with a few other things she found- a broken Tag Orb, a little mechanical mouse- even one of those ancient Tamagachi toys.
"Ooh..." she said as she looked it over. It seemed to be alright, except that its casing was broken and a couple circuits were damaged. The battery also needed replacing.

Using a sheet of scrap steel as a makeshift desk, she pulled a small little thing that looked like a minuscule screwdriver out of her coat pocket and began poking around inside the damaged casing.

"Oh, I hope she decides to do it." she mumbled distractedly as she worked.
"I would love to be in a Guild like this..."
"Here," Popcorn said, handing Kibi back the datapad. "Find out what's on the rest of them," she told Kibi.
"I hope to hear back from her soon," apel nods as she rolls her club from hand to hand.
