Well, to tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting them to win this game. Italy and England are a whole 'nother ball of wax. I kinda thought the same thing when I saw who CR was grouped with, lol. We'll see. All I know is that the World Cup has been very interesting and unexpected things keep happening.

Yeah, well, they were never my team. I would love for them to advance and show promise but over the last... what? 12 years, all they've done is suck. Even last WC, they were so close to advance and they blew it. And it was their own fault

It is starting to seem like every team that takes the lead with a penalty, ends up throwing the game away! lol
But I missed the game due to work, but from what I've heard Costa Rica actually played some pretty good football. But every single opening game is a difficult one, no one wants to lose especially since there are only 3 games in the group stage. I'm actually expecting Uruguay to play better in their next games, but Italy and England certainly won't be pushovers, especially with how they both played earlier today!
