They can. Their offensive passes are terrible cause Neymar is out. Also Neymar is fast enough to get the long passes, the bench players that got subbed in aren't.
Even if it wouldn't have stopped the 5 score much cause Thiago is out, at least Brazil would've got 5-1 or 5-2 by now.

Thiago has been a bigger loss for them, but still... any team that's supposed to be world class and worthy of winning the tournament shouldn't fall apart so much when a key player gets injured. They're clearly out of their league against Germany.

We wouldn't know cause Neymar isn't playing. But Brazil with Neymar is definitely a much greater offensive threat. It's not like every team has been scoreless against Germany this world cup.

You don't know that. I still believe that Argentina can beat the Netherlands being mainly carried by Di Maria and Messi.

Not really. Marcelo is making some nice passes, just no Neymar to receive them and David Luiz is getting some steals, but Germany is constantly attacking the left side where Thiago would be defending.
