The fact that most of the team this year was rookies (due to injuries), also, the fact that they're in the AL East (the best division in baseball) didn't help either. If the whole team was healthy, they'd be in the World Series instead of the Rangers.
they were not awful at all. If they would have been in any other division, they would have had a much better shot. unfortunately for them, they were in the same division as the teams with the two best records in their league. They had multiple injuries that set them away, but they still kept up a good fight. You just can't complain with a 89-73 record under those circumstances.
