Im a huge Braves fan, and I was extremely happy to see the Phillies lose for once. mrgreen

But to be quite honest, I'm surprised at the matchup right now. I could have sworn at the beginning of the playoffs that it would have been Yankees vs. Phillies, and that both teams would make it in without a fight. Boy, was I wrong.

Who actually likes the Giants? Hell, not even San Francisco's great gay, pot-smoking population cares for them, either.

They haven't won a Fall Classic since 1954, when they were still in New York--the third longest (current) World Series drought in the majors.
