"Pardon-" The wolf turned back towards the man. "But the way you speak of her is rather fond! And..." He pointed to the two, arm in arm. "..Are you two together?"

"He's quite the gentleman then Miss Lily." Hal said to her with a smile, before turning back to her escort.

"It's a bit complicated. We were together a while back, and might still be depending. And to answer the obvious question to come, while we were together, extenuating circumstances led to us taking a break. I was said to be..." he paused a moment to think. "Not serious enough at times in essence. Since that time though I've heard nothing from Cera regarding if we were done or not."

Cera chose this time to join the conversation. "Let us not talk of dreary thing. It is time for the food." She nodded to the men bringing out tables and setting it with snacks and small plates. Many of the guests were already making their way to the food. There were small sandwiches and cookies and other such sweets including brownies and small chocolates. "Please take advantage, and if there is nothing that you like, I can ask the kitchen to make what ever it is you want.

"Oh dear..." Lily wondered if they were beginning open old wounds. She looked over at where all the food would be. Seeing the chocolates and other chocolate flavored treats made the girl internally cringe. Nevertheless, not wanting to raise a fuss, she looped her arm around Curtis's own, "I believe after fixing yourself up and being late....you must be hungry, sire." Hoping to imply that the hostess and the guest might want some time to themselves or others. "I do not wish to hinder Miss Cera's time with other guest~"

"Don't worry about hindering the time I share with our dear hostess, there's plenty of it left. And even then, it can wait until after we've been fed. A body that's hungry is one that doesn't enjoy things as much." he said with a grin as he headed off to the table laden with food.

Cera let Hal leave to the table. She watched him go and got herself another glass of punch. She didn't seem to mind that she was alone, rather she took the time to observe Lily and Sir Curtis.

Sarah approached Cera, seeing her alone and without Hal in sight. She was still with Ryan, holding his arm and following close with him.
"My, Cera, you look so alone. Where did Hal go?" She asked politely with some concern in her voice.
Ryan glanced over at the table, seeing Hal at the refreshments.
"He is by the table, and no doubt craving for food," he said, answering Sarah's question for her.
Sarah looked to see Hal by the table and then turned back to Cera.
"Oh, why don't you join him?" She asked.

"Now that you mention it, I am feeling a little famished," she smiled, feeling the hunger tickle her stomach.
"Perhaps we should gather some refreshments, my dear," Ryan said, turning his head towards Sarah.
Sarah nodded at Ryan and looked at Cera.
"I agree. Would you care to join us, Cera? It's not often I get to chat with the hostess," Sarah said.

"Hungry- quite. I wouldn't mind dinner if offered. Thank you very much, Miss Cera." With a smile, Curtis excused himself and his shorter companion and retreated toward the banquet table.

She snickered before nibbling on the light snack, "Beings do like chocolates in one form or another. How curious..." For some reason her mind was unable to fathom mortals fondness towards the treat. But then again...

Lily scanned the view, "See any lovely maidens for you to socialize, Curtis? I hate to impede on you~" A sly smirk appeared in her lips, encouraging him to mingle with other beings in the event.
