Welcome Aboard

There's a saying: "Fairy dust is the stuff dreams are made of." Nothing could be further from the truth. For on the contrary, fairies spin fairy dust from magic. In the dream realm, fairies pull their magic from the dreams of Gaians. So it would be more accurate to say: "Dreams are the stuff fairy dust is made of."

Fairy dust is an important commodity in the dream realm, as it is the only substance powerful enough to fuel some of the fantasies made real there. Fantasies like airships. The skies of the dream realm are filled with them! And where there are vessels not governed by the laws of the lands beneath them, there are bound to be those addicted to that freedom.

Captain Angel and her Dream Pirates are addicted to that freedom. Few high-flighers are better known than this bunch. Their mission is the same as Robin Hood's: Steal from the rich, and give to the poor. Shady aristocrats and fat cats think the Dream Pirates are menaces. Paupers and peasants think they are heroes. Doubters think they are merely a legend. And you? Well, you have just been transported smack into the middle of their deck aboard their infamous ship, the Dream Boat.

The crew is more welcoming than you'd expect! The ship is decorated for the current festivities, draped in bright crimson decor and laid out with refreshments fit for a Pirate King. Their welcoming attitude is partially because they are a good-intentioned bunch at heart, and partially because less and less dreamers have been showing up in their beloved sky. Gaians simply aren't dreaming as much! Remember how "dreams are the stuff fairy-dust is made of?" This has caused some real problems in the fairy dust industry! Luckily, Angel and the Dream Pirates have their own fairy employed on board, producing the much needed fairy dust to power the ship. However, if Gaians stopped dreaming altogether... high flying legends like the Dream Pirates might have to land. Permanently.

Angelishia the Spellbinding Captain

☠ Age: Older than I look ~ c;
☠ Favorite Color: White
☠ Personality: That captain of the dream pirates is a bit elusive. Most of her time is spent in her private quarters experimenting with arcane spells to improve the performance of her beloved Dream Boat. When she does emerge, she is kind to guests and strict with her crew. When a Dream Pirate isn't following her orders to the best of their ability, they are liable to be punished with a practical joke, or just an outright arcane zap to the behind.
☠ Backstory: Little is known about the Dream Pirate's captain, though she appears to be an ancient spirit. She is pale and has fangs, though she does not seem to need blood like a vampire. When asked about her past she will reply with: "I've been alive. I've been dead. I've been undead. I'm not really sure which category I fall under nowadays."
☠ Other: Angel adores sweets. If you want to get on her good side, appeal to her sweet-fang. ♥






Eran the Grumpy First Mate

☠ Position: First Mate
☠ Gender: Female
☠ Age: 18
☠ Favorite Color: Blue
☠ Personality: Eran is very grumpy and doesnt believe that the crew can truely be called pirates, she has many crazy ideas to try and get them to act like what they claim to be and often empties her pockets to find many things that the crew has been looking for.
☠ Backstory: Eran grew up on the streets and learnt many skills there under the older kids, like pickpocketing, how to use a knife and lying. She came across the ship by thinking that she could steal from it and brag about it to her friends but it didnt go to plan and the ship left before she could get off, making her a stowaway. One of the ships crew found her hiding in the supply cabin, eating some of the food. She was introduced to the crew as a stowaway but worked her way up to the position of first mate because of how much work she put into help the ship.
☠ Other: Anything of value that goes missing was probably Eran but she is a very good at telling lies and most think she is lying when she is telling the truth because she's laughing trying to say it.






Pippa the Clueless Cabin Girl

☠ Position: Cabin Girl
☠ Gender: Female
☠ Age: 16
☠ Favorite Color: Red
☠ Personality: Pippa tries very hard, and she means well, really! She just runs into trouble more than she'd like to admit. She's easily frightened, accident-prone, and liable to space out when her attention is most needed. She loves cleaning, though truthfully, she doesn't do it all that well. Pippa is completely oblivious to many things, including important events or chores she was supposed to do. For some reason, she keeps laughing at Lancelot's jokes...
☠ Backstory: Pippa grew up far away from the sea, and even there, she wasn't of much use. In her little town, she was always known for causing trouble, though she really can't remember any time when she was trying to make trouble. Her mother told her that traveling would do her good, but instead of boarding the right ship, she accidentally boarded the Deam Boat! How that happened, she can't remember for the life of her. In exchange for not making her walk the plank as a stowaway, she agreed to be their Cabin Girl, and fell in love with her job.

Cerylia the Resident Fairy

☠ Position: Fairy
☠ Gender: Female
☠ Age: Fairies live a long time.
☠ Favorite Color: Purple
☠ Personality: She is kind and sweet, shy at first and may keep to herself and her work. Is very sarcastic and witty but may seem moody and grump at times because things are not going her way or something is not working right.
☠ Backstory: Cerylia or Lia as she was called by family and friends, was born in a deep forest not far from the ocean. The first time she saw the ocean and had fallen in love with it. So to left home and started seeking out ways to live on of near the ocean. Unlike the merfolk, she could not swim for very long, (wings would get soaked and she wouldn't be able to fly). She played tricks on my ships out in the ocean but none seemed to like her for it. She then came across a group of misfit pirates and used a bit of fairy dust to make the ship fly. They loved the idea and kept her on board. she she lives above the ocean and occasionally flies along side of the ship.
☠ Other: Likes to drink Honey Dew.






Lancelot the Ladykiller Gunman

☠ Position: Marksman and Bait
☠ Gender: Male
☠ Age: 28
☠ Favorite Color: Red, after all, it is the colour of love!
☠ Personality: Extremley flirtatious, you probably won't see Lancelot doing anything else than hitting on the guests during the ball. He can be quite narccisstic at times, and doesn't understand why all the female crew members on the boat reject him. He is extremely smooth and charming - with a wink he can cause girls and boys to faint, and with a few words, he can have an army of fangirlss at his command.
☠ Backstory: Lancelot, or Lance for short, is the marksman of the ship, but he spends more time trying to flirt with girls than anything. Most of his time is spent trying to ask the female crew members out on dates. (He's usually rejected.) If there are non-crew females on board, he will flirt with them too. (He's usually successful with these girls.) That said, he is quite good at using a gun even though he lacks practice - this is because it is his talent. Furthermore, he is the 'face' of the crew. The unofficial one, that is. People usually associate the pirate crew with him because he is always used as bait when the crew needs a distraction to get out of some sort of trouble.

He is very open about his past, but no one is ever sure if he is telling the truth or not. He gives a different back story to every girl that he meets. However, it is certain that before Lancelot joined the crew, he worked for a while as a blacksmith in the country side.
☠ Other: Lancelot is carrying a bottle of what looks like rum, but is actually iced tea with him all the time. Also, he has a tendency to take of his shirt and show off is well endowed chest and stomach.







Gaspard the Undead Doctor

☠ Played By: Sachie Whitby
☠ Position: Doctor
☠ Gender: Male
☠ Age: ???
☠ Favorite Color: Carmine
☠ Personality: Gaspard is incompetent when it comes to doing his job. Although he has amassed a large collection of medical devices, he really doesn't know how to use any of them such that he will do things like try to use a stethoscope to listen to someone's brain. He has a bit of an obsession with collecting blood samples from everyone to as part of a health check, but nobody has ever seen him do anything with them to the extent that it is often theorized that he actually drinks them when he is confident that he is completely alone.

The doctor is also in complete denial about being undead. If you just casually mention the undead or vampires, he will always state that those things don't exist thus are nothing to worry about. Telling him that he is one will only result in him arguing and never conceding the fact that he might not be fully alive.
☠ Backstory: He has never given anyone a straight answer when it comes to his past. When he first joined the crew, he claimed to be on the run from monsters. In a later instance, he said that he was a bored prince who got bored of palace life and wanted to go on an adventure. Twice he has been a wizard who lost his magic due to having his book of spells stolen from him and three times, he has been in exile from another kingdom that got taken over by invaders. His current story is that he is on a mission so secret that he cannot tell anyone what it is.
☠ Other: The ship's infirmary is a large source of excess weight due to all the random things he has been collecting.







Vangie the Prophetic Fortune Teller

☠ Played By: Prophetic Vangie
☠ Position: Fortune Teller/Entertainer
☠ Gender: Female
☠ Age: 14
☠ Favorite Color: Black
☠ Personality: She likes to chat and be talkative around people. Very sociable being, with bright attitude toward everyone. She can be very dramatic and hyper when she gets to heated up on something or excited.She is quite gullible and easily gives her trust, which has some bad sides but also helped her befriend many people.
☠ Backstory: Vangie says she don't know when she came aboard. She practically have no memories of her birth or family or what happened to her. As long as she remembers, she have lived, flying aboard on the Dream Boat. But she's happy with it. And she tends to become sensitive when some one mentions her birth or before she came aboard.
☠ Other: She likes to carry her instrument with her. Always.

Rumor has it that the Nightmare Crew, an enemy pirate band of the Dream Crew, have been spotted in this part of the sky! Keep your eyes peeled for these sinister (and fabulous) characters!




Captain Cabaret

☠ Played By: Captain Cabaret
☠ Position: Captain
☠ Gender: Female
☠ Age: 19
☠ Favorite Color: Hot Magenta
☠ Personality: Cabaret embraces her inner child, and engages in cutesy antics almost constantly. However her cunning is surely adult. She has masterminded the Nightmare Pirates from their very beginnings.
☠ Backstory: When captured, Cabaret will insist up and down that she grew up an orphan who didn't know any better and bat her 'innocent' lashes. However, the truth is she has rather wealthy parents who live in the countryside of dreamland.
☠ Other: The only criminals she considers more dangerous than herself are those who commit crimes against fashion- poor taste in clothes is the real travesty here. ♥




Caleb

☠ Played By: Caleb the Knife Thrower
☠ Position: Swordsman
☠ Gender: Male
☠ Age: 20
☠ Favorite Color: Red
☠ Personality: Caleb is very childish and often breaks into bouts of laugher when he's fighting, he dances around his opponents trying to find their weakness.
☠ Backstory: Caleb lived an interesting life when he was a child, being brought up by a clown for a mother and knife thrower as a father gave him an interesting prospective in life, he had his mothers happy personality but his fathers love of knives, he was later said to be insane by some of the audience, they said it so often that he believed it and started to act insane. He was kicked out of the travelling group with his parents in it because one of his jokes went too far causing another member to be severely hurt, in shame he found the nightmare ship and asked to join their crew, hoping to get away from his happy yet in the end sad past....

The Wicked Temptress Chipotle

☠ Position: Temptress
☠ Gender: Female
☠ Age: 21
☠ Favorite Color: Purple
☠ Personality: Chipotle is a temptress, through and through. She acts like one of those classic "gangster's girls", minus the annoying voice. She is incredibly vain, and she always gets what she wants. She's also a master of saying hurtful things, when it's needed. All men in the room must watch out, her beauty rivals as much as she's mean.
☠ Backstory: Chipotle has been on airships as long as she can remember. At the age of three, she held the captain of the Helium Horror at gunpoint in exchange for chocolates and lip balm. At the age of seventeen, she made paupers out of kings... or so she says. She joined the Nightmare Crew because she was only interested in the best wicked pirates the sky had to offer.
☠ Other: Chipotle is afraid of nothing!... Except small rodents, seagull poo, spiders, mud, and people with bad acne. She also likes using fairy dust as a face cream. It's said to smooth blotchy skin and leave it looking flawless. And that's how Chipotle likes it; Flawless.

Day One

☠ You found yourself aboard "The Dreamboat" mingling with the pirates of the Dream Crew!
☠ It became apparent that the ship was running on fairy dust, and that the fairy dust supply was getting shorter and shorter as more and more Gaians dreamt less.
☠ The Nightmare Crew attacked! They stole all of our fairy dust and beat up our crew!
☠ Our ship started to fall out of the sky, but with the help of everyone we were able to throw off the heavy objects weighing us down (like Gaspard's medical equipment) and create enough fairy dust to keep going!



Day Two

☠ It's been hinted that we may be chasing Nightmare Pirates today to get our fairydust back!

While the captain tries to sort all this out, she is severely neglecting her arcane studies! Help Angel come up with a few spells to make life easier on the ship while she attends to other matters.
☠ Send a PM to Princess Angelishia with your idea for a spell. Illustrations are appreciated, but not necessary! Please be sure to explain how to cast your spell, and what it does! Then wait for her to send you your coin.

☠ The first mate always has a sour expression on her face! try and liven her up with a joke. If you can get a chuckle, you'll get a coin!

☠ Cerylia is working hard to make dust for the ship during the shortage! Help her out with some inspiration. Find our resident fairy and share with her some of your favorite dreams.

Pippa's Quest

☠ Pippa is always striving to be a better pirate, under the apprenticeship of Eran. She is also trying to help out during the shortage! Help Pippa gather ingredients to make her very special recipe for Pippas's Substitute Fairy Dust! Her mentor is sure to be impressed... as long as nothing explodes!

Gaspard's Quest

☠ The ship's doctor is obsessed with two things: blood, and medical machinery. Why don't you help him with the latter? It is said that the doctor pays dearly for creative blueprints for medical equipment!
☠ PM Sachie Whitby with your best medical device blueprints. (Images suggested! If you can't draw something, give him a really good detailed description!) If he thinks you're the next medical genius, he'll give you a coin!



Vangie's Quest
