I wasn't planning on seeing much this summer, but I saw WallE today and it was SO CUTE. Seriously, it was ridiculously heartwarming.

Busy weekend for me, slow week. Saturday we have company coming by in the afternoon and evening and Sunday I have Pagan Brunch, then visiting Ryan's nanny in the afternoon. Unfortunately bellydancing is over for the summer, but I still think I'm going to practise Sunday night. I had an interesting title stuck in my head; "Walking with Maya". It has a couple of meanings; maya means illusion, and maya is a move from dancing. I was thinking it would make a good title for a book, or my autobiography. ^_^ They say everyone has at least one good story to tell; I think mine might be my life. So yeah, we have a geek table(s, and soon to be possibly an entire section of our food court) at our university too, it's been around several years, and I too have created a guild for our table, though it's hidden, and apparently no one uses it. So now I feel silly because there already was one, and we could have found people as insane as we are instead of isolating ourselves... *sigh*
You don't happen to be from GVSU do you? I would feel even sillier then... |

What makes you a nerd/geek: I'm a member of a geek table at another school, I created a guild for us here as well, to keep me entertained while I'm over seas this summer, but no one posts there *pout* I'm also a member of our school's Ren Faire (most of the Ren Faire resides at the table, and most of the table participates in the Ren Faire). The only tv I watch are shows by Joss Whedon, morgue shows or shows based around Doctor Who. I've also been a music geek most of my life, and I'm now majoring in music.
