Hey I just asked me, if here are some people who are as crazy for travels as I am. And where have you been? Where are you going to this year?

I've been to Berlin (Germany), but I live in Germany so not so special, London(Great Britain), Corse, Paris(France), Menorca(Spain), Helsinki + Lapeenranta(Finnland), Kemer (Turkey), Spain (Barcelona), Elba, Sardinia (Italy) and I am going to travel to Rome (Italy) and Japan this year.
So I think this was all, where have you been?

I LOVE to travel.
I don't have much time or money for it though...
I've been to many places... To name just a few... Berlin (Germany), Athens (Greece), Venice (Italy), Marmaris (Turkey), Riga (Latvia), Quebec City (Canada) just got back last night actually lol
I'm planning to go to London some time soon... maybe at the end of the summer.

too poor to travel, but I have been to Alaska, all expenses paid. I get air and car sick...

I love everything but the Jet lag. I'm seriously a horrible person when I'm jetlagged.

I've been to:

Turkey
The Czech Republic
Germany
Hungry
Random Places in the US

I live in Oregon, USA


The food in Hungry was AWESOME.
     
There was a hole here

it's gone now.

I live in the Central Valley of California.

I travel a lot 3nodding I've been to at least 35 countries. I'd travel more, but it's kinda expensive, also I don't have that much time.

I live in New Jersey, but go to California and Florida at least once each year. Other than those places, I've been to:
Quebec
Boston
Newport, RI
NYC
the Adirondacks
Philadelphia
Chicago
Detroit and surrounding areas of Michigan
Washington DC
Jamestown VA
Williamsburg VA
Memphis
Nashville
some of Texas
a lot of places in the Southwest (Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico)
Ashland, Oregon
I lived in California for twenty years, so I've been all over that state.
When I moved from the West coast to the East, I drove, so I've driven across the country. That was actually my favorite "vacation."

I'd really love to travel overseas, but these obligatory trips to CA and FL tie up a lot of vacation time and money. Oh well, it will start happening soon.

I'm going to Tunisia this week, first time I've ever gone outside of Finland. I should probably get myself vaccined for Hepatitis A already, broken liver doesn't really sound that fanciful. biggrin

Also, for the OP... It's "Lappeenranta", not "Lapeenranta".
