Inaproppriate Little Mermaid cover?

This is the cover to the original 1990 Disney movie, the little mermaid. It was recalled due to the cover being inapropriate. Do you see anything wrong with it?




Well, THIS would be why it was banned, apparently one of the animators 'accidently' made a part of the castle shaped like a p***s.
I found this kind of interesting and surprising xp

Anyone have some other interesting things to share about Disney?

I actually still own that cover of the movie.

Snopes has a pretty good collection of urban legends about Disney, including a lot of stuff like this.

In Aladin when he is Prince Alie he comes to Jazmins room... As the tirge is growling and he is saying down kitty, if you turn it up and really listen I swear I hear him say "take off your clothes"... Also the word sex in the leaves of the lion king when simba flops down by the cliff...

Go to Snopes, almost all the ones that people think are true aren't. The "Little Mermaid" one isn't true, "The Lion King" one isn't true (it spells SFX, a shout out to the special effects team), and the Aladdin one supposedly is untrue as well. It is true, however, that there's a few frames of a topless woman in the background of "The Rescuers".

I read that one on "The Rescuers". Im thinking the Little Mermaid was just an accident, but some mischiveous animator was behind The Rescuers eek

    It's actually kind of sad when you think about how much time people must have on their hands to "notice" these things. rolleyes The whole uproar is ridiculous because small children won't even know what the fuss is about anyways.

Or..

The sign post in Beauty and the Beast, says Orange and Anahiem...location of disney county and city.

Or...

In Aladdin when the king is stacking his animal figures, there is a tiny Beast figure....

etc??? or are we talking naughty bits in disney cartoons that made it thru?
