manga: no fillers, makes more sense, and they don't cut parts like in anime. 3nodding

Manga. It holds my attention longer than anime does.

Look at him closely. He's in perfect symmetry.

Manga. I find it much more intersting than anime. :3 Plus I love books.

And no horrible voice-overs or cut parts to wreck it. =D

I vote anime, while I do like good manga, most of the anime I really enjoy don't have manga, or the manga aren't as long as the anime, like with Wolf's Rain. I'm also a great fan of good artwork and prefer art from anime over manga (though Megatokyo has great artwork). But I will say I've recently picket up volume one of Robot and really liked that, I'll be checking out more of those type of book in the near future.

Some shows like Haibane Renme don't have manga but do have doshinji, but they are hard to get scans of, and even harder if you want hard copies.

You forgot visual novels =O though they aren't that popular since not many get translated. They are good though, I've started playing one called Wind, not very far in, but it's really good so far.

I definitely prefer manga.

I started Naruto watching the anime, and then discovered the manga, which I really liked. After Shippuden began, I stopped watching the anime (since the animators were different and they weren't as good as before). I was pretty disappointed with the anime. Manga also takes less time and the art is generally a lot better in manga than in anime.

Case in point: Has anyone ever watched the Reborn! anime? No comparison to the manga, seriously, although since Reborn has been getting more attention, the anime is improving (fractionally, but still improving).

I prefer anime.

I'm not a huge fan of comics. The only 2 manga I've seriously loved are both written by Kiyohiko Azuma: Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba&!.

アアアアアアアアアアアアアア!!

Both presidential candidates suck. Get over it.

OMG YOTSUBA!!!!! anyway
manga- original ideas of the mangaka
anime- i dont have to read

Manga. Those are usually the original stories behind the anime and there's no horrible voice actors or bad animators (though there are bad authors). I also like the art a lot better.

They are really different. Sometimes the manga catches the feeling better, sometimes the anime does...:/ *still voted for Manga though* I read more Manga than Anime..^^"

Death's going to come no matter what. How tragic would it be if the short time we have to live is spent thinking about it? We can only live for now.

I prefer manga, but sometimes things aren't very clear when they are mashed up in panels. So I watch the anime so get better sense. The things added in manga helps make it make sense more.

I heart you Gaia!

But it depends on the anime/manga.
