Welcome to Gaia! :: Find your friends on Gaia!

We've just released a snazzy new thing called Find Friends, which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. It lets you import your email address book and see if any of your pals are already Gaia members... you might have tons of friends on Gaia that you didn't even know about!

It also functions as a nicely upgraded invitation system, so if your friends aren't already Gaia members, it's easy to invite them.

To get to the feature, just move your mouse over the "Community" menu, then click "Find Friends." Or, since you're right here anyway, you could just click this convenient link:

A note about privacy:

By default, other Gaians will be able to find you in an email search. If you'd prefer to stay hidden, just visit your "Account" page, scroll down to the "Friendlist" section, and change the "Allow other users to find you..." setting to "No." Even if you set the option to "Yes," your email address will never be displayed or revealed to anyone unless they specifically search for it.

Remember: you can always change this setting again later if you change your mind.
