More Features For Guilds!
Features Like, More Coustomization In General For Forums And A Guild Home. Kinda Like Towns, Except A Large Area Purchasable By A Guild In Towns And A Big Building In The Middle, Guild Owners Would Be Able To Buy More Rooms And Put Items In Them Too. Also, More Rooms For Users In Towns.
One Last Thing, Make Items In People's Homes Useable, Such As Chairs Being Used And People Laying Down In Beds, Then From There, Make The Blender's Vibrate And Make A Blender Noise And Things Such As This.
It'd Really Make Towns More Than Just People Cybering And Looking For Bugs And Trash.

My suggestion is for removing a feature, rather than adding one.

AVERAGE BUY PRICE
Please! Lose the darn thing! I beg you!

It may have served a purpose (Though I doubt it) when the new MP was introduced, but now it's a hindrance. People are using it as the "Holy Bible of Pricing" because (OMFG) they cannot be bother with actually checking the item itself! All that happens is that sellers wind up undercutting, and usually by a large amount. Yeah, it might be nice for the luxury items, since you can grab a bargain or two, but you rarely see a large difference between the lowest price on the market and that ABP, when it comes to those items.

Taking that Average Buy Price out of the MP will not only prevent that undercutting, and thus force users to actually look the item up, but it will also prevent items from being grossly overpriced (IE: Many starter items) as well. Many cheap items like the starter items, have high average buy prices attached to them.

Maybe I am the only one who thinks this way, but to me that feature is about as useful as placing a "Shop" price on items that are not, and never have been, in the shops. Both are misleading, and deceiving.

Are you tired of having your Inventory scattered about?

Then Sign The Petition.
Another thing to add to the removal list:

When the admins rebuffed the inventory coding, they added a feature that took items worn by your avatar and removed them from their location on your list. They are still there, but if you had your clothing and accessories arranged by type (i.e skirts with skirts, pants with pants, etc.) it takes them from that order and after you remove the equipped item, it leaves them there.

The old system was flawed but at least it didn't rearrange your items every time you equip and unequip them.

Gaia Marketplace -

it would be awesome to be able to list items for sell in lots rather than just one item at a time. For example, alot of people sell multiple letters or collectables at once, but to do this we pretty much have to hang out in the exchange, or put in each letter one at a time on the market. But if we could list selling items in lots of 2 or more, for a total price on the lot, it would be much quicker and easier to get rid of things when we want gold to buy other things.

or....................

another way this could be done is to be able to list however many you want to sell and then list a general price per item, and people could click on the buy link for the said item, at the price they approve of (please refer to pic below)

the buy link will take them to a page where they can choose the number of items they wish to buy at the time and complete thier transaction.(please refer to pic below)

Letter/Collectables List @ post 11

i buy & sell things for my charity - feel free to message me for offers
How about an addition to the search function, which would give another option in arranging the results of the search: most recently online! Of course, online users would appear at the beginning, with users who logged on earlier that day, the day before, so-on and so-forth. This would really make things a lot easier.

Because I just love finding someone who loves EarthBound as much as I do, and then seeing that they haven't logged on in over a year.

A useful and simple addition, yes?

Literate ladies feel free to PM me. ;o

umm, did everyone forget about the scion raffle thing?

yeah, when is that going to happen?

It has probably been suggested before...but you know how when in the forums there is bar with links for every user to show on/offline status, view profile, trade, read journal, buy a gift, add as friends, etc.? Well what about a highlighted button of sorts when the user is competing in the avi arena that says "Vote for me" when you run your mouse over it or something.

So many good ideas! 4laugh
But do the authorities actually read this thread?

On topic: Emoticon contest ^^

yes, we read it! surprised

every time we go and do an update of some part of the site (arenas, inventory, etc) we read through and see all the great ideas here. most of them get read, many of them get discussed, and a few of them get implemented. its not necessarily a fast process, and we obviously cant do everything. but yeah, keep the ideas coming!

I can see that there are a lot of suggestions being made but here is a quick one.

Can you make it so that the guild captain can mass pm everyone in the guild about new hot topics, changes, activities, or as a general motivation so that more new posts could be accomplished because the pm system would be slow on a one-on-one basis.

As a side note if the pm system could be retrofitted as an email system it may be easier for people to email and it would correct the mass mailing system issue faster.

I think this will help... thank you for your time

BASTA WANTS A FALLEN WISH!! help please? ♥

One thing I'd like is for it to be easier to sell items back to the gaia shops. Right now, you have to navigate to the item in the inventory (each step of which causes the entire page to reload), select it, click the "sell" button, click another "sell" button for the shopkeeper, the page reloads and the item inventory is reset back to the first page, and then you have to do that all over again for the next item. There are a couple ways this could be made less tedious:

1. Being able to 'batch' sell items back, similar to how trades are done. The way sell-backs are handled in Animal Crossing: Wild World is pretty decent.

2. Just having the item inventory not revert back to the first page would make it easier. Usually when I'm returning items, they're mostly in the same area of the inventory.

The second one is probably easier to implement. I'd be happy if the inventory just stayed put after I sold an item. Less page reloads would also be nice.

The "sell" buttons are very small targets, and if the user clicks just a pixel outside of it the dialogue box closes and the item has to be re-selected and the two "sell" buttons pressed again. It'd be nice if the dialogue box only closed if one of the buttons was pressed, that way slightly missing the target doesn't equal canceling the transaction.

Since item normalization, errors when trying to sell items back to the shops are pretty common. This would be a lot less annoying if the above issues were resolved.

i think that there should be a different way to organize your friends on your friends list. if you have a lot of friends and you want them in a certain order it takes forever, it's just too time~consuming. i think it should be more like how you can organize your friends on myspace, it's easier... and it just makes more sense.
