Monthly Collectibles FAQ and Listing Due to popular demand, I created a listing of the Monthly Collectible items in the original Gaia Exchange FAQ. But now the list is so large, I felt it would be easier for you all if I broke the list out into a separate thread for your convenience. To jump to a year, simply click on the link you need below. A: Donation letters is the old term for what is now known as Monthly Collectibles. Before this change, they were called donation letters because users would donate to Gaia to receive items and keep Gaia running free for all who use the site. Q: That sounds cool. So how do I get one? A: You can get them from either paying $2.50 through PayPal to Gaia (this will give you the letter in your inventory instantly) with a credit card, sending a check/money order through snail mail to Gaia (it will appear in your inventory as soon as they get it and the check clears), or you could purchase one from a user who has purchased an MC themself, and is selling one in the Exchange. To make purchases of letters, you can go visit the Gaia Store for more information and ordering details! You may now also purchase Letters from the Gaia Cash Shop with Gaia Cash. Each letter is 250 cash. Q: Okay, so thats all nice... But why would I want one? A: You would want to buy a letter, for many reasons~ One of them being the items you get when you open them. Monthly collectibles can contain multiple item choices. When you open a letter, you are asked to select one of the item choices, which will then appear in your inventory, in place of the letter. Each month, a new letter is released, meaning that each month, there are new monthly collectibles. The other being, because donation letters are only distributed during their respective month, meaning that once say, December is over, if 1000 letters were purchased, there will only be 1000 letters in existence on Gaia, meaning that everyone that wants one cant get it, making donation letters a great investment for future gold making purposes! Its all about supply and demand~ Q: WTH?? My letter wont open! A: Its not supposed to! Monthly Collectibles are sealed until around the middle of each month, the 15th. Q: Soooo..... Whats in this months letter? A: Its a secret~ No one except the Admins know whats in the letters untill they are released. Please don't message moderators asking either. We don't know! |
