Arsenal.com are devoting a week for each of the top 4 players of the year. Sagna was voted 4th, Adebayor was voted 3rd and Clichy was 2nd. Next week we find out the winner officially. However let us see it will be Fabregas who else is there? Toure please, Gallas you make me laugh, Alumina never would it be given to a keeper is the name is not Buffon or Kahn. Since Fabregas is the obvious choice for player of the season, what are peoples 2 3 and 4?

I think Arsenal.com got the right people honored. Perhaps Adebayor in front of Clichy but I think it is fair.

Sagna

in that order for me others?


I'd put Clichy in front of Adebayor because he has had more of a consistent season.

And probably Hleb in for Sagna as well can't see why he isn't in the list.

Ade Given 45 million euro price tag to AC Milan and they have backed out switching over to interest in Ronaldinho in the latest story. Wenger had been certain that Ade was staying so I was never to worried.

Arsenal are having a press conference tomorrow so hopefully that will be about Samir Nasri and Amaury Bischoff signing.

He is on holiday and will join us when he gets back

And a £30m take it or leave it offer from Barca for Adebayor, I say accept it and get a quality replacement who actually wants to play for us rather than mess the fans about.

You can want to play for a team whilst still being rational about a very attractive financial situation though, it's impossible to judge the real situation beyond the media spins. I'd like to keep him with us, regardless of the summers doings.

what exactly is surprising about this? Henry, Vieira, Hleb, we have been selling for a while. We will find other reasons for it but I am not surprised that we have been selling stars.

what exactly is surprising about this? Henry, Vieira, Hleb, we have been selling for a while. We will find other reasons for it but I am not surprised that we have been selling stars.


Even Edu, Cole, Bentley, we sell our top players but hey we are still strong anyway, it is about selling the right stars.

Bingo, nail on the head. We used to sell because that's the way of football. Now we're selling to cover repayments?? Where does our profit as the richest PL club go?!
It's been one thing after another since the new year and it's all getting a bit silly. Wenger needs to sign a couple of class players this summer, and start the new season without letting ANYONE else go. Adebayor needs to stay, and go at our leisure when we can replace him, not before.
At this rate, we'll end up struggling to snatch fourth place again, and that was not a highlight that season.
