• A single star shines bright in the sky,
It’s soft light falls upon the sleeping Earth,
The trees and grass lie still and watch,
And the chill night air has stilled its breath.

Time has lost all meaning upon the sleeping meadow,
And the grass caress my knees as I kneel upon the earth.
I reach out to the star to take into my arms,
It’s cool silver light falls upon my face.

I look high unto the sky,
And the night lets out it’s breath,
A name whispered on a breeze,
A name sighs among the leaves.

    The name of the star,
Whispered in awe of its beauty,
Softly escaping the lips of men,
    Your name, your light,
    Your star.
