• We sit and stare.
Just looking in each others eyes.
Knowing that we both know what each other wants to say,
And the answer in their glance.
The longer we wait, the harder it is to say Bye.
But more and more, we are only making it harder with no words.
We finally break down, and talk heart to heart.
    You speak what you mean,
    I listen plainly.
As you finish, I rethink the past.
All the joy., all the memories.
All the fun, all the love.
We both know it won't happen again,
For we both agreed to just stay friends.
But the friendship won't last long,
For neither wish to make it hurt.
As we say our final Good-Byes to each other,
We both start to Cry, ignoring the people nearby.
We make one last hug, and move on.
Now that it has finally ended, we both can move on.
Or we may let it stay in us, to remind us of what has been done.
For wherever there is a great pain,
There will always be a great joy waiting.
