• The moon doth rise yet I cannot see,
be it blindness that doth hinder me?
The moon be full, I know for certain,
yet darkness hangeth like a curtain.
Not a star can I see this night,
nor my dear friend, who stands at my right.
I fear the worst, yet I cannot know,
till darkness' veil doth riseth so
I may see what lies ahead.
Be it the dragon, whom all fools dread?
Or be it my love, whom I miss so?
Mine soul doth longeth to be close
    to mine brave warrior knight.
He who wouldst gaurd me through ev'ry fright
and chase off the demons who haunt my soul.
I have not any fear, though the death bells do toll
