• I am walking through the cotton clouds
    While little sparkling lights drift
    Upward with a downward motion.
    The air around me vibrates
    With an unknown beat.
    The beat pulses across my heart strings.
    Crystal droplets fall into my heart
    Leaving a streak of uncertainty;
    The legs of my beat buckle.
    I kneel in the clouds;
    Crystals piercing panic into my breath.
    Arms wrap around my quivering figure
    And brush the panic and uncertainty away.
    Strength and warmth course within me;
    I gather myself in the embrace.
    Fully gathered I raise my head;
    Our eyes meet.
    In that moment the clouds dissolved;
    The lights turned to rose petals,
    Drifting downward with an upward motion.
    Our gaze remained unbroken
    And I discovered life.
